lilydale relief centre open for upper yarra communities

LILYDALE RELIEF CENTRE
OPEN AT 6PM TONIGHT

Residents in the Upper Yarra Valley area, including townships east of Warburton, are advised that a relief centre will be opened at the Lilydale Recreation Reserve, Main Street, Lilydale, Melways Ref 38 E5 from 6pm tonight (22/02) until further notice.

Residents seeking accommodation for domestic animals can take them to the Victorian Animal Aid Trust, Killara Road Coldstream. Horses can be accommodated at Lilydale Recreation Reserve, entry from Maroondah Hwy Lilydale.

Whilst it was the National Day of Mourning today, fires still threaten communities in the Yarra Ranges. If you have decided to self evacuate you can go to the relief centre in Lilydale.
