Due to unprecedented levels of European Wasp actitivity last summer council decided to enter into negotiations with wasp nest removers to provide a discounted rate for nest removal to Yarra Ranges residents.

It seems this summer isn't such a problem, but they are still around. European Wasps can be very agressive and will act to protect their nest, so it's important that you take great care to destroy their nests, should you decide to do it yourself.
