mini beasts festival - this sunday @ birdsland

MINI-BEASTS FESTIVAL  - Freaky, fun & free!!








When: Sunday, 29th April 2012 from 10:00am – 2:00pm

Where: Birdsland Environmental Education Centre (Melways ref: 84C1) 
park in the main carpark and follow the signs up the gravel road.


A family day to celebrate Birdsland Reserve and Monbulk Creek. The Southern Dandenongs Community Nursery will be open from 9am to 2pm – Free plant for every visitor 


Bring a picnic or buy a snag or vegie burger at our barbeque. Good coffee will be available too! 


~ Learn what lives in our creek 
~ Become a citizen scientist and test the water 
~ Have a guided tour of the heritage orchard 
~ Story tent for the littlies 
~ Go on a bird walk 
~ Games for all the family with the local scouts 
~ Plant some trees to help the platypus
