logging in catchments - melbourne's water at risk

At the top of the Armstrong Catchment - Cambarville, on Sunday 16th December, where logging has already commenced.





















It's not just the forest that's at stake, it's thousands of litres of water loss in Melbourne's catchments.
















The mainstream media picks up the story with the Herald Sun, Channel 7, 9 and 10 covering the issue.

Do we really need to destroy our native habitat to make a quid, surely we could stop and look at the consequence's that we are passing on to our next generation, I understand we are creatures of habit but I am sure that in the future our previous habits will have to be looked at very closely especially the people that in the past have relied on the timber industry as their lively-hood.
